I'm not 14 yet but i am going to turn 14 in march. i am looking for job that i can work at that won't cut into school. i know there's grocery store helper and stuff all in that category but that's not what I'm looking for. i am not allowed to babysit until I'm a bit older and"responsible". me and my friend were going to see if we could work at the tampa renaissance festival (she heard they hire ages 14+ over the summer...?) so any details on that would be great too. thanks

First of all there may not be many opportunities for you to get a job because of your age (most employers require a minimum age of 16) and even if you were able to find a job (there are a lack of them in the summer due to "of age" teens getting their own jobs). If you are really desperate however, you could either sell from a catalogue, mow lawns, make copies for people who work in you parents office for whatever they are willing to give you or just pick up any task that people in your neighborhood or friends of your family would be willing to pay you for. Make sure you discuss these options that you are able to discover with your parents, especially because of your age. Good Luck!

How does the american idol backstage passes work?
I am going tonight to the concert in Tampa and my friend knows someone who works there and she gave us backstage passes. How does it work? Is it seperate or do you just go with everyone else with the meet and greet? Thanks.

I went to the american idol concert my self and it is really fun. You are LUCKY that you got backstage passes all you should do is go in like you have normal tickets and the person who scans the tickets will tell you what to do. HAVE FUN!!! Hope I can help.

I have seen ads in newspapers and similiiar media such as Data Processing at Home: more work than we can handle call 1-800 etc.etc., but nothing is ever legitimate. Are their real companies out their that do need typing or data entry done with a pay of work completed and submitted? How do I research and find the real honest people looking for my type of skills to do at home?

Hi Shannon, I had to do a lot of research too, and my best advice is never pay an up front fee. It took a ton of research, but I have found some really good sites. I don't know about data entry to do at home but you can join Pampered Chef for $155.00 plus tax and you usually earn your money back after doing just 2 shows If you are interested please contact me. I earned the money I paid to start my own business the 1st show I did and now earn $1,000 up per month doing 6-8 shows a week. If you sign up but decide it's not for you there is no problem but you have over $450.00 in product you only paid $155.00 plus tax for.

I dont think you need one. You dont in NC. Below is a link to the florida Contractor Online information. Most of the time, subcontractor licenses are for Major components of the home, like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural. These are listed on the site. However, you should have liabiltiy insurance, in case you mess up or accidentally goof up something. All subcontractors need workmans comp in case they fall or get hurt.
