A friend came to work here in tampa from mexico with a visa but his visa does not say for working,?
so now I want to know if he can fix that problem in the mexican consulate in miami fl, or does he have to go to laredo Tx where he got it at.

What can the Mexican Consulate do? He is working in the US illegally and this cannot be "fixed". If caught, he will be deported.

If he came on a visitor or a study visa then he CANNOT be working. He must apply for a work permit in order to be allowed to work.

yes some people do. its a 45 min - 1hr 15 min drive depending on i-4 traffic.

You can do it but I would think it would need to be north Tampa, Your taking a 90 min drive. I commute from St Pete to Sarasota and hate the drive (50 miles each way)

Not if they can help it. From downtown orlando to tampa is 90 min. that's a sucky drive.

yea its awful how much EVERYONE has to drive to work here. no matter your age. I dont know how a lot of Disney workers live with their minimum wage pay and the mileage and gas.

How can I get involved in glass-blowing and/or lamp-work near Tampa Bay, FL?
I want to learn either how to do lampwork or glassblowing and I live in the Tampa Bay area. Know anyone that could help me? Any help is much appreciated. I've been searching for glassblowers in this area and have not been able to find any yet.

About triple major + minor, where can I work

Triple major + minor, where can I work?
I'm a senior majoring in psychology, political science and international relations with a minor in public health ... I also speak arabic and im decent in french. I want to work in tampa for a year before grad school, but I don't know where or what to do. I appreciate ANY help at this point seeing as I graduate in May of 08.

Um, related to above, surveys from home suck, and usually don't even work. Anyways, I don't know of specific places in Tampa, FL, but it sounds like you are trying to get involved in some kind of international politics type thing, so look for those kinds of jobs. I'm sure there are internships for political/government jobs. With a resume like that you shouldn't have too many problems. Good luck.
