I'm not 14 yet but i am going to turn 14 in march. i am looking for job that i can work at that won't cut into school. i know there's grocery store helper and stuff all in that category but that's not what I'm looking for. i am not allowed to babysit until I'm a bit older and"responsible". me and my friend were going to see if we could work at the tampa renaissance festival (she heard they hire ages 14+ over the summer...?) so any details on that would be great too. thanks

First of all there may not be many opportunities for you to get a job because of your age (most employers require a minimum age of 16) and even if you were able to find a job (there are a lack of them in the summer due to "of age" teens getting their own jobs). If you are really desperate however, you could either sell from a catalogue, mow lawns, make copies for people who work in you parents office for whatever they are willing to give you or just pick up any task that people in your neighborhood or friends of your family would be willing to pay you for. Make sure you discuss these options that you are able to discover with your parents, especially because of your age. Good Luck!

I went to the american idol concert my self and it is really fun. You are LUCKY that you got backstage passes all you should do is go in like you have normal tickets and the person who scans the tickets will tell you what to do. HAVE FUN!!! Hope I can help.

Hi Shannon, I had to do a lot of research too, and my best advice is never pay an up front fee. It took a ton of research, but I have found some really good sites. I don't know about data entry to do at home but you can join Pampered Chef for $155.00 plus tax and you usually earn your money back after doing just 2 shows If you are interested please contact me. I earned the money I paid to start my own business the 1st show I did and now earn $1,000 up per month doing 6-8 shows a week. If you sign up but decide it's not for you there is no problem but you have over $450.00 in product you only paid $155.00 plus tax for.

I dont think you need one. You dont in NC. Below is a link to the florida Contractor Online information. Most of the time, subcontractor licenses are for Major components of the home, like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural. These are listed on the site. However, you should have liabiltiy insurance, in case you mess up or accidentally goof up something. All subcontractors need workmans comp in case they fall or get hurt.

Most pet stores require you to be atleast 16, but for Petsmart/Petco I think it is 17 or 18.

the ones around here you have to be at least 18 however if you have some connections to get you in its possible to start early, i know people who have done that.

you would have to be atlest 16 but in some plases you would have to be 18 sorry you have a long way to grow good luck.

I have been working everyday for about six months Me and a girlfriend from high school found each other around Jan . of this year and planned a trip to New York I told my boss I was going and she need to fine someone to run by store while I was gone. So the week before I am to leave on vacation my computer went down at work. Could not do any paper work. Then on Wed. at 1.PM I get another one up and running. Started putting in 6 days worth of paper work. Stayed all day until I was done putting it into computer. Alone with putting that all in they want you to put everything into a Most Book. Well I did not have time for that. The next day I had to do a food service test all day. And the next day I left on my trip. So when I come back and go into work my boss gives me a 3 page write up , gives me 2 weeks off without pay. I want a Job in the Tampa area that is NOT in Tampa/St.Pete Clearwater, Brandon, Lakeland, Plant City!!!!?
I keep looking for a job in the Tampa area that is not in Tampa, St. Pete, Clear Water, Brandon, Lakeland, Plant City, but rather something in the New Tampa area or anything in Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, or even Lutz, Land o Lake. Though it seems I can never ever find any job opening in this area, and I not willing to make the huge long commute over to Carolwood ( so jobs on Dale Mabry road are a no) section of Tampa, or down town Tampa to work. So if anyone knows how to really find somehow what is open in the way of jobs in them cities please let me know. I have tried alot of the online things and keep finding nothing! Mostly seems to be dominated by the parts of Tampa that are out of the question for me! And I not willing to move to them sections to be close to a job! Since I can not afford doing so at this time!

Try the unemployment office. Although you don't leave much of an area to work with. I know your area has these try a day labor! Most of the jobs don't post on the Internet.I know it is hard too find a job in your area I use too live in Lakeland! Good luck

have you check out http://www.JobSearchMaps.com they map jobs by geographic location

You should mail your resume with a unrequested-style letter of application to any major businesses in those areas, using say an address search by distance online...you could try say UCH, and Doctors and Chiropractors and other businesses...try to fax or mail it or call them or search their online websites for openings...AND DO NOT forget to check USF Oracle online for jobs in those New Tampa/Temple Terrace Area or even try the North Tampa Tampa Tribune Neighborhood newspaper circulator which has jobs listed w/ the 903 prefix and also the Pasco County Area (which is the county for Zephyrhills/Dade City)...it's worth a try. You can try a Pasco County newspaper as well as the newspaper's Employment section and also any major Hospitals and businesses w/n those cities you named

Check out camps at Busch Gardens or the Aquarium. Those can be fun! Also check out the YMCA!

Busch Gardens comes to mind as well and these people spamming cash crate needs to be b slapped. There is another one in Tampa MOSI They do a lot of business during the summer months and very edcuational as well.
