I would try a place like Charley's or the Cheese Cake Factory. Bern's trains its own people from scratch and it takes a year before they work there.

I would say bahamma breeze..The Hurricane in St. pete...cheesecake factory.. Berns probably pays great tips too.....Any job at channleside as a server or bartender probably pays alot of money as well. You can find links to some good bar and restaurants to work at on the nightlife page at http://tampabayonline.us hope that helps! -katie.

What stores or restaurants can a 14 year work at in Tampa Florida?
I have already applied for a couple of jobs, so I don't want to hear you have to be at least 16, and I want actual stores and restaurants not babysittings. :] Thanks it will really help.

Sorry girl...it's against the law in most places to hire someone of your age to legally work in a store or restaurant. Now if there is a pizza place you can ask them to pay you off the books or work for tips...usually some pizza places will do that. (at least in NY they do). You may just have to wait until 15-16 years old or when school starts talk to your counselor about it they maybe able to help with some connections.

You have to be 15. The supermarkets will hire 15 year olds to be baggers. 14 is too young to legally work in a store or restaurant unless your family owns the place.

Break out a phone book and start calling. State your charity and sound desperate.

You may want to contact dental schools and see if they have students looking for charity work. hope this helps!
